Derek Park started DP Auto Electrics, based in Lanarkshire, in 2015 following a magnificent career overseas working in the gold mines in Egypt and as an engineer in Mali and Ghana in West Africa.
Mr Park began working with Xwatch Safety Solutions not long after the company launched in 2019. Derek reported that it was a slow start in the region but soon gained traction as companies became aware that they were able to access a simple to use, cost effective solution to safety - fitting and creating a safety barrier around equipment within the equipment’s operating reach. Xwatch also has the advantage of its strong component warranty of five years - which is completely unique in itself.
To date DP Auto Electrics have installed more than 200 Xwatch systems from across the range. Clients include, Scot JCB, RJ McLeod, Sennebogen, Molson Young Plant, Blackwood Plant Hire, Marubeni Komatsu and George Leslie. Derek said that some of the companies were converts to Xwatch from their original safety solutions providers.
