Join Xwatch Safety Solutions, part of Hexagon, and lead the installation of our advanced safety systems. We’re looking for an Installation Engineer to help us deliver cutting-edge solutions that protect machinery and operators across the construction industry.
Your role:
- Install and commission the full Xwatch suite of safety systems, including height and slew limiters, rated capacity indicators (RCI), and more.
- Carry out pre-installation assessments to understand site and equipment requirements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure systems are fully operational.
- Provide clear documentation and guidance to customers for using Xwatch systems.
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards during every installation.
What you’ll need:
- Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, including diagnostics and maintenance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A focus on safety and quality in every task.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- A NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, Plant, Electrical or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical support or engineering role.

- Flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites, if required.
