Urgent call from Anglian Plant, a telehandler needed back on hire, and a narrow window to make it happen.
Xwatch engineer Billy Hughes fitted an SS1 height restrictor using Xwatch’s proportional EOHC system – a cleaner, simpler approach that removes the maze of extra valves, hoses and solenoids and replaces them with compact control units. Fewer parts, fewer failure points, and a much quicker install.
The EOHC box manages four motion controls in a single unit. Unlike basic ON/OFF systems, Xwatch’s proportional control mirrors the feel of the machine’s pilot valves, so lift and reach remain smooth and predictable for the operator.
And while Xwatch is often associated with excavators, this install is a reminder that the Xwatch technology is built for far more than that. Telehandlers, loaders, material handlers – the same principles apply.
From the cab, it still feels like the same telehandler. From the yard, it’s a machine that won’t overreach into danger.
